Today, we’re proud to share our 2024–2025 Impact Report, a reflection of what your generosity, advocacy, and belief in this mission have made possible.
During this peroid:
8 research grants were awarded, supporting innovative projects that aim to find better treatments and improve quality of life for Kiwis with cancers of the digestive system.
$173,605 was distributed in new funding commitments to advance critical research.
More than 44,000 people accessed patient and health information through our website, a 66% increase in visits to cancer information pages.
2.34 million people were reached through nationwide awareness campaigns.
Breakthrough advocacy helped secure access to new treatment options for New Zealanders facing advanced liver cancer.
Your support strengthens every pillar of our work: research and innovation, patient support and information, advocacy, and awareness. It ensures that people facing gut cancers are not alone, and that we continue striving for better outcomes for all New Zealanders. We invite you to read the full report and see the impact you’ve made possible.
We also have printed copies of our Impact Report available. Please email the team at infor@gutcancer.org.nz and we will send one (or a few) to you!
Thank you for your support. We can't do what we do, without you.
