For the 5th year in a row, GCF was chosen as the charity of choice at Big Boys Toys. After months of uncertainty, the fact the vent was going ahead at all was cause for great celebration for all involved.
GCF has a long-standing relationship with the event thanks to our founding chair, Grant Baker, who’s Ferrari collection is always the main event for anyone attending BBT.
The weekend kicked off with the VIP night where a fantastic charity auction raised over $10,000 for GCF! At the heart of the auction was a unique opportunity to be driven on a hot lap experience around Hampton Downs by Kiwi Formula 2 superstar, Liam Lawson. With Grant offering up his incredible Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo for the lucky, this saught after prize was the star of the evening.
Throughout the weekend, the GCF team was supported by an amazing group of volunteers taking cash and card donations from the tens of thousands of visitors to the event and helping to raise a total in excess of $18k from the weekend as a whole.
