Help Kiwis affected by pancreatic cancer

Roselyn's Story

"I am a survivor of pancreatic cancer...

Several months had passed since I had started investigating what was wrong with my health. If I had stopped searching, if I had listened and believed nothing was wrong with me, if I had not been a fit person prior, if I had not listened to my body.

I would not have had the chance of the life saving Whipple surgery and chemo and would not be alive today and as difficult as recovery has been, and certainly, life is different from the plans I had for myself, I am grateful to be alive, getting fitter, healthier, better and better each and every day.

It takes time and a lot of dedicated effort on oneself to get where I am today and will continue to do the new version on myself to stay healthy and beat this silent killer!"

Roselyn knows just how tough the journey from diagnosis to recovery can be. Right now, Kiwis facing gut cancers don’t have a dedicated patient support service - which is why I am helping raise funds to change that."
